British Mudrābyabosthāy Chā-Bāgāner Paisā (Bengali) is a documentation of the tokens of eighty-five tea gardens of Assam and North Bengal in all their possible ramifications. The author refers to these tokens as 'Paisā', aligning with the coolie for whom it was issued who identified it likewise as it performed the role of a medium of exchange. The book has been divided into twelve chapters and two very interesting appendices containing original documents to inspire further research in the subject.
